“I’m currently travelling Europe with my violin, and I want to get to Oslo. That’s my final destination, but I also travel through European countries that I haven’t seen before like Slovakia, Austria, the Czech Republic and also Amsterdam. It’s an adventure for me. Right now I am on the twelfth day of my journey. I’ve been to four cities so far, and so it’s just thebeginning for me. The differences between cultures or the differences in architecture, little things like for example different bread in shops, are interesting and exciting things to see for me. I’m finishing my music school, so I’m not a professional musician yet but in one year I will be. I am more excited by the reaction of people, the energy I can get from them and give them back than the music on its own. That’s what excites me the most. Performing on the streets is more like a live show because if you don’t do your best then people won’t stay and listen. If you play in a theatre, people already came and paid to see you and they probably won’t leave during the performance, so you are not under such pressure as on the streets. It’s a bit different here. It’s more spontaneous and lively. I prefer playing on the streets more than playing in a theatre.”
