It is hard to cohere your work life with your personal life. Women are under constant pressure. The role of a woman in the past was to stay home and take care of her children. Now, fortunately, women are ambitious, they want to be successful, but there is still the expectancy that taking care of a child is women’s role and men’s is to be successful. I am a fresh mother. I took only a year of my maternity leave. My employer has a day nursery for the employees, so I am one of the luckier ones. My brother pays 1 000€ for a day-care per month, which is an insane amount of money. I understand that the population of our country is getting older and day-cares and kindergartens were turned into senior centers, but my generation, on the turn of the 80s’ and 90s’, is a very strong generation regarding the number of people. Now all these people have children of their own and there are not enough facilities to put them in and the state just doesn’t care.
