I am a first-year student at STU, department of architecture. I like the university a lot, even though I hardly get any sleep. At my elementary school in Košice, I used to draw all the time. Then I stopped. I don’t even know why exactly. Back at the gymnasium I attended in Banská Bystrica, I was kind of lost in the matter of my University studies. As an elective for maturita (ed.note: high school final exams), I chose descriptive geometry and found it interesting. That was the moment I decided to pursue architecture. I do think that architecture is the kind of field that is connected with other additional and relevant studies where one can assert oneself even in Slovakia.
